A POST-APOCALYPTIC DICTATOR ROLEPLAY
In the year 2007, a scientist began working on a project. His mission was to develop a deadly virus that would wipe out the vast majority of the world's population. And he succeeded. In 2009, Nathaniel Stryker unleashed his weapon, and life as we know it fell apart.
The plan was a fairly simple idea: reduce the world's population and then take over when the world was at its weakest. Unfortunately, things didn't go exactly as they were supposed to. Sure, the diabolic man managed to murder billions, and the antidote he'd developed had successfully rid the world of the virus, but he passed away twelve short years later. With him gone, his twin children took over the throne of the new empire. But Valter and Brita Stryker were at odds from the beginning, and eventually they split the empire and began fighting each other.
The American survivors started to attempt to rebuild their lives, which proved to be difficult as the Stryker family gained more and more power. They named their east coast city Hollowcaster, and people from everywhere on the continent began gathering there. Unfortunately so did the Strykers, and the city became a war zone. Valter called his followers Tehrorrs, while Brita called her followers Vainqueurs. They occupied opposite ends of the city, and continued to cause destruction.
The Tehrorrs and Vainqueurs killed anyone who would not join them. So naturally a rebellion began to form, since not everyone wanted to join the dictators and in fact were very against the Stryker siblings. They hid out in the land surrounding Hollowcaster and even in Hollowcaster itself, and began to work on bringing down the Tehrorrs and Vainqueurs. And there were some people who remained neither with the dictators or with the Rebels; these people tried to both stay neutral and stay alive.
It's now 2020, and the war rages on. Nobody is quite sure who's winning, but everyone is still fighting as hard as they can. And they stay near the city, because if they go too far they might find themselves face-to-face with a mutant. The people believe that the virus created monsters, and nobody wants to risk meeting these creatures. People are still dying everyday, and there are very few that still maintain any optimism that the world will one day be at peace again. Survival is the main goal in life, and not one a lot of people achieve. So in this world of chaos and destruction, which side will you choose?
