DISORDER:
Controlling Pressure
Jackie has a certain control over any type of pressure. Blood pressure, air pressure, water pressure, pretty much any type of pressure she can control. She can make the pressure lighter or heavier in any certain area. It is hard for her to do smaller areas since controlling such power in a small area is too much for her. She also can handle extreme amounts of pressure around her, and it does nothing to harm her body inside or outside. Though, there have been some incidents where the pressure has been too much, and she then tends to break down slowly. By then, she is usually pulled out of the high pressure areas.
Sight of Pressure
Besides being able to control pressure, she can also see pressure. Jackie's eyes have a special part to them, letting her see the pressure around her. Now, seeing pressure seems impossible, but Jackie sees it through her eyes almost like the thermal cameras. The higher pressured areas, the darker blue they are. She hasn't been able to control when she can make her eyes see pressure, and Bellafield is trying to make her eyes permanatley able to see pressure and not have it change back to regular sight.
PERSONALITY:
Jackie is a pretty hidden girl, though at first she might not come off as it. She puts up a wall, practically shielding everyone from seeing the sad part of her, the part that wants to cry out. She doesn't have that many problems in her life, but just being in Bellafields makes her feel down. But, Jackie is never the type to show emotions that make her seem weaker. She wants to be seen as a stronger person, and independent girl who doesn't need help from people. Some enjoy her independence, for they know she can take care of herself and they don't have to worry about making sure to protect her. But, some find it a bit rude, as if she seems too good for everyones help. Truth is, Jackie doesn't know how to ask for help. Know matter how hard she needs it, she doesn't want people to see her as weak.
Around others, Jackie is a pretty exciting girl. Everyone around Bellafields is always so scared and sad, but Jackie just chooses not to show it. She's daring and headstrong, always choosing to do most of her stuff on her own. Other's tend to drag her down a bit with their upset attitude. Only few seem to be okay in her eyes, for they don't really care about what is going on in their life at Bellafields, or they just don't choose to share it like Jackie. She's done many things to get the doctors angry, such as refusing to do things. The pain she gets from the to force her to do it never phases her from moving away from her stubborn behavior. Following other peoples rules was never really her thing.
'cause you're so perfect
AND NO ONE MEASURES UP
PB: Hannah Beth
HEIGHT: 5 foot 5 inches
WEIGHT: 132 lbs
HAIR: A very dark brown, almost black looking. Her hair is on the longer side, and has
EYES: Blue
BODY TYPE: scars, skin tone, body build, etc
MUTATION: Jackie seems pretty normal, but then you see her eyes. They're blue, and I mean really blue. Most wouldn't think of this as a mutation, that is until they see her when her eyes change so that she can she the pressure levels around her. Her pupils disappear and all that is left is the piercing blue. She does not have control over her eyes changing, so they tend to do this at random times.
STYLE: Way back in Italy, Jackie was pretty into fashion. But when arriving to Bellafields, she began to tone down what she wears. She tries not to put too much effort into her clothes. After all, no one here ever seems to care about clothes, more about how they are going to survive pain. So, everything she wears is just the normal shindig.
yeah all by yourself
YOU'RE ALL MESSED UP
MOTHER: Hannah Claire Florimbi - Deceased
FATHER: Aldo Beppe Florimbi - 49 - Hotel Manager - Italy
SIBLINGS: Sheyna Loraine Florimbi - 17 - None - Italy
OTHER RELEVANT FAMILY: Eileen Janith Florimbi - 78 - Retired - Italy
HISTORY:
Jackie lived the life of being the girl who had to teach herself to grow up. Right as she was born, her mother died. It was one of those weird accidents, since Hannah was in perfect health and Aldo, her husband, had hired the best doctor for her. Aldo tried staying with Jackie and her older sister Shey in America for as long as he could, but nothing seemed to be going right without Hannah. She had helped him adjust to the American ways, but now that she was gone, America was just an alien world to him again. Hannah's family wasn't really supporting Aldo as much as he had hoped, so going back to his homeland seemed like the best idea. His parents had already told him many times to come stay with them after Hannah's death and have them help raise they girls. So, Aldo moved out of their old little house and flew all the way out to Italy with the two girls and stayed in the home of his parents.
Jackie lived a pretty normal life. Nothing seemed to be different in her life from the other girls and boys. Sure, not having a mother was a bit different from most kids, but she didn't notice. To her, her grandmother was her mom. She did the same exact things as all the other kids mothers did, and to her, she think she did it better. As Jackie began to get older, so did her grandmother. It was harder for her to do the same things for Jackie as she used to, causing Jackie to do stuff for herself. Her grandfather had passed away long ago, practically a year after she had moved here, and her father was constantly at his hotel. She began walking to the bus stop alone and making her own lunches. Sheyna was a big help to her, but she couldn't be there for her all the time. Jackie grew up fast, faster than she probably needed to. By age 14, she was practically an adult.
Nothing happened to Jackie over her years in Rome that were super special. She got average grades, had average friends, and lived a pretty uneventful life. It wasn't until she started receiving letters. They were posed as an acceptance letter to some special school. Her father refused Jackie to go, saying how much money it would cost, so they just ignored them all. Jackie didn't mind not being able to the school. She had no intention on moving away from her life in Rome. Clearly though, this "school" wanted her very badly. Jackie was at the Vatikan, just strolling around. There was a large crowd of people there since it is a huge tourist attraction. Out of no where, Jackie was grabbed. No one saw her being pulled away, and no one saw her be shoved into the van and taken away. A day later, Jackie was in Bellafields, practically living her real life hell.

The sun is a beautiful thing. The many colors in the sun, such as orange and yellow, are warm and happy colors. In light vs. dark, light always wins. And, the light the sun gives off is an amazing thing. It can power whole house holds while still making a small child smile. So, to sum it up, sunny days make people happy. Everything becomes brighter, clearer, and cheerful.
Carver was a generally depressed girl. That dreadful coma did so many things to her mind. It altered it in a way to the point where she would never be the same. To put it shortly, amnesia took the Carver everyone loved away. Many say her attitude now is because of her amnesia, and how she can't remember to function right around people. That is partly true, but there is also something else. It was how people acted around her. Every time she was around someone who knew her, they would rave on and on about how great she USED to be. Though she did not show it, the things people said hurt her. It just made her feel that much not wanted.
But, today Carver felt a bit different. The sun cheered her up just the tiniest bit. Her morning didn't go by as rough as she thought it had been. She woke up pretty early, earlier than she usually does, and actually remember the paper mans name. Zeke was very pleased, and told her that she could take a day off of mental therapy and go out for a walk. This wouldn't be a big deal to most kids, but Carver rarely ever got to go anywhere on her own with out Zeke right behind her question every single second about how she felt.
So, Carver did take a walk. And, in the heat of that glorious day, Carver smiled. It wasn't at anyone or anything in particular. She was just...smiling at the world, smiling at herself. And along with that smile, and idea popped into her head. Carver wasn't allowed to have caffeine for a while for the doctors said it would stimulate her brain too much. But, Zeke did sneak her some from time to time on special days. And, today, Carver felt like today was very special.
Reaching into her right pocket, she pulled out a crumpled 10 dollar bill mashed in with a couple of ones and 6 dimes along with three pennies. 12 dollars and 63 cents, a perfect amount of money to treat herself to an iced coffee. So, Carver changed her path to head towards the local bakery. As she got closer and closer, the aroma of freshly baked pastries made her consider buying a danish.
Entering the store, she could feel the energy of people bouncing off on her. Though, Carver did get some weird looks as she walked through the bakery. Practically everyone knew about her amnesia after some article was posted about her in the local paper when she came back from the hospital. Easing her way through the crowed, she went up to the register and ordered an iced coffee with a raspberry danish. Taking her items with her, Carver settled for the last open table located towards the corner of the bakery.
Carver thought she was going to eat alone in her little corner as usual, but the sunny day had something else planned for her. She heard a voice ask if they could sit at her table. Looking up, Carver saw a boy. At first, his face was totally new to her and she had no clue who he was. But after a second of looking at his face one more time, a name came to mind.
"Oh, of course Ryan." She said quickly, sounding a bit flustered. Carver hadn't really prepared herself to be seeing anyone that she knew, let alone talking to them. But, she couldn't help admitting to herself that she was happy that she was not alone on such a nice day.
