THINGS ARE NOT WHAT THEY SEEM IN HELTON, VIRGINIA Picture the prettiest, most idyllic town in America. What you're envisioning in your head, with the perfectly manicured lawns, gorgeous Victorian houses, quaint little streets and white picket fence? Well that's Helton, Virginia home of the legendary Helton Prep, a school with an impossibly high collective average. Everything in this picturesque town seems too good to be true. Even the kids seem too good to be true. The teenagers, that attend Helton Prep, are perfect. Every single one of them are drop dead gorgeous, fabulously athletic, absolutely brilliant and ridiculously intelligent. At least that's what it looks like on the surface...
In a world ruled by adults, Helton is ruled by the youth. They own every aspect of the town and understand every inch of it. Well the ones who have lived there a long time do. But what happens when you throw in a bunch of newbies in town? What happens to them? Will they understand or will they just fade to the background and become irrelevant? That's up to you.
All I know is that WE ARE FATED TO PRETEND
