There was something about this place that felt more like a cell. Even though it was new and large, filled with games and expensive toys for them to enjoy themselves with, it felt more and more like a prison, a luxurious prison.
She had been here for three years, she knew what came on, here, but at least they had the decency to make it comfortable. Anastasia was sitting cross legged on the couch, her fingers on a controller as she played a game titled 'Gears of War' on the screen. She had been only allowed to play after her anger was kept under control. She had almost destroyed the game console the last time by shooting one of her bone spikes into it while she was losing a game. It was an accident, but she was still banned from it for a year.
She wasn't normally the gamer type. But when it came to blowing up stuff, or rebelling against he government, there was somethign about these games that just brought out something inside of her. She hated this place, even if she was trying to make it the best she could...she still ahted this place. She probably would have been with a guard at the moment, or a doctor, had it not been for them either being all busy, or suddenly off doing something else. She didn't care. she did have other things to do. She could find things to do. it wasn't hard. It could be fun not being up against a wall today.
Or maybe it wouldn't. it would all depend how the games ammused her enough...or if the game console, an xbox360, was able to stand the heat.
Anastasia was watching herself though. the moment she felt angry at it she would shoot the concreat wall with her bone shards, nont the electronics. she did want to be let back in here again.
Even if today was one of the dead days. No one was around, and if they where they kept to themselves.
She didn't know why, but they seemed to avoid her.
Scared of the older kid? maybe. she didn't know nor care.
Anastasia sighed, leaning back in her seat with her gray sweatshirt hanging around her with her shots and smooth legs under her, leaning against the arm rest as she shot a couple more of the aliens. She wasn't paying attention, she was getting rid of anger. By killing the creatures on the screen she was allowing her emotions to leave, and she found herself in a very zombie like state, which almost made her happy. She shook her head after a moment, pausing the game to stand up, stretching and she clicked the save on the game, before going over and shuffling through a few more games.
Halo? Bah. she had played that game too many times.
Call of Duty? Eh. Not really.
Oblivian? no. she hated that game.
She moved through the games, finally pausing as she pulled out a game that was hiding in the back, one of the newer games they had recently gotten.
Prototype.
How perfect for their situation.
She put the disk in and she sighed, kicking off her shoes and shegot herself comfortable, sipping her soda which was sitting beside her and she leaned back once more. Asia had nothing better to do but to play video games. She didn't have any appointments and even if she did she refused to go into that damn virus room. She didn't want to be sick for another four months before allowed out of her room.
She hated when they tried a virus on her. Mono had really hurt her, which made her vulnerable. She didn't like it. she hated not being able to know what she was doing, or able to control herself. Colds she could burn or freeze out of her body, same with pneumonia. but the other viruses she couldn't really stop. She was still building up her immunity as her body went hey wire with itself.
"Lets see, Mr. Alex, what can you do now?"
She was talking to herself, but the alumni wasn't going to give two damns now.
Anastasia found a game she liked, and she was going to play.
